A recent list used thousands of customer opinions to find the worst fast food chains in the whole country. I felt like I had to go and see if the quality was actually that low. I brought my appetite to these locations to test the food and the workers. Here is the report on my visit to the restaurants that everyone is complaining about.
KFC
I walked in expecting that classic crunch but the chicken was honestly so greasy it soaked right through the bottom of the bucket. The service was super slow and they even forgot my biscuits which is literally the best part of the whole meal.
Burger King
The burger I ordered looked totally different from the flashy ads on the menu board. My lettuce was soggy and very old. I sat in the long line for a huge amount of time. Sadly the fries were cold and tasted quite stale too.
McDonald’s
The ice cream machine actually worked this time which was a huge surprise. However the burger meat was way too dry and felt like chewing on hard rubber. I wanted some extra sauce to help but the workers just ignored me while they kept chatting.
Church’s Texas Chicken
Visiting this poorly rated chicken joint was quite a mistake for me. My meal was super dry and tasted like nothing. Everything sat under heat lamps way too long. The only good part was the biscuit but that was not enough to save the meal.
Long John Silver’s
I ordered a meal and everything was just brown and tasted like old oil. The fish inside was mushy and gross while the bread bits were rock hard. It was a really sad lunch experience and I could not even finish half of my tiny basket.
Taco Bell
I went to get some late food but it was a total mess. As soon as I grabbed the taco the shell just fell apart. Everything inside fell out everywhere. My burrito was mostly just cheap rice filler with a tiny bit of sour cream inside.
Pizza Hut
This pizza was a disaster right when I opened the box. The toppings and cheese had slid off to one side. It was so greasy it felt gross. The crust was just weirdly chewy and failed to have that classic crispy bite I wanted today.
Hardee’s
This giant burger was just a greasy mess of mayo. It made the bun soggy very fast. I felt sick after eating it because the whole thing was just too salty and heavy for any normal person to want to finish up today.
