Visitors are greeted by a breathtaking 118 foot tall ice mountain that looks just like the one from the movies. Elsa’s glowing palace sits right at the very top and it honestly looks spectacular against the sky.

This huge new area is actually the largest expansion since the Paris resort first opened 34 years ago. It is part of a much bigger two billion euro transformation that is changing the whole park completely.

Josh D’Amaro just took over as the chief executive of Disney only 11 days before these French gates opened. He spent almost thirty years working in the theme parks division so this is a really big moment for him to show his vision.
A Brand New Name For The Park
The park we all knew as Walt Disney Studios Park is getting a big fresh update and a totally new name. It is now officially called Disney Adventure World and that name definitely fits the new vibe they are going for.
Riding The Frozen Ever After Boat
Guests can hop into a little carriage and glide through the water past some really amazing singing animatronics. You might get a tiny bit wet on this ride but it is totally worth it to see Elsa singing in the dark.
Meeting Your Favorite Arendelle Characters
You can actually walk right inside the Arendelle Castle and meet Anna and Elsa face to face which is super fun for everyone. There is even a cute little interactive baby troll named Mossy who talks back to you when you say hello.
The Charming Nordic Fishing Village
The land looks like a real northern European village with timber buildings painted in soft pastel colors around a pretty lagoon. The designers used traditional Norwegian decorative art to make everything feel super authentic and cozy to walk through.
Dining Options At The Regal View
They added 15 new dining locations including a fancy spot called the Regal View Restaurant where you can grab a bite. The food looks pretty interesting and while some folks might absolutely love the unique flavors I think it really depends on what you personally like to eat.
A Magical Nighttime Drone Show
When the sun goes down they put on a massive show over the lagoon called Disney Cascade of Lights. It uses more than 380 drones to light up the night sky and it is just so cool to watch with the music playing.
Bringing New Jobs And Big Money
The French president Emmanuel Macron visited and talked about how this huge park expansion will create 1000 brand new direct jobs. The park brings in a lot of tourism revenue for France so this is a really big win for the local economy.
Even More Magic Is Coming Soon
The fun does not stop here because they are already building a brand new Lion King land that will open up later. Disney is planning to basically double the size of this park so there will be so much more to explore in the future.
