The big canyon in Arizona has many red rock layers that show things from a long time ago. You can stand at the top and see the water moving way down there. It is a very large and special place for people to visit.

Tennessee has these tall mountains where blue mist stays on top of the green woods. You should see it in the fall because the leaves turn very bright yellow and orange. It looks really nice when all the trees change color across the whole big area.
Yosemite Valley California
This valley in California has giant cliffs that go way up into the sky above the ground. Water falls from high places and hits the bottom where the flowers grow. There are also very big old trees that have been there a long time.

The coast has many rocks next to tall trees and very still lakes. If you go up the high road early you might watch the sunrise. This spot lets you see the light hit the water first. It looks like a nice natural scene.

There is a wet woods area in Washington where the trees are covered in soft green plants. The coast has very big pieces of wood that washed up. You might see tall rocks in the ocean near the shore where the blue waves are crashing.

The park has many blue lakes that get their color from ice melting off the tall mountains. You can drive down a famous road that goes right through the big snowy peaks. It is a very pretty place to see the high mountains and cold water.

This place is a wide river of grass where many birds and animals stay. It moves very slowly through the land. You might want to take a boat trip to see the special trees that grow right in the shallow ocean water along the coast.
Napa Valley California
The hills have long rows of plants that look like a big green blanket on the ground. This place is quiet and the bright sun makes the fields look like a pretty picture. You can walk around and see how the light hits the leaves.
