Where to Find the Cleanest Bathrooms in Fast Food Chains I Tried Them Myself

Finding a clean restroom while traveling can be a challenge. I visited several popular fast food chains to check their bathroom cleanliness for myself. Here is a helpful guide based on my experiences to help you find the best stops for a quick and clean break on the road.

Chick-Fil-A Always Feels Like A Safe Bet

You already know I had to stop here first because they are famous for having super clean stores and the bathroom was smelling like fresh lemons. It felt like they just cleaned it five minutes before I walked in so I highly recommend this one if you are in a rush and need a nice spot.

Panera Bread Gives Off A Fancy Vibe

I always feel a little bit fancy walking into a Panera and their bathrooms completely match that cozy cafe energy they have going on. The floors were spotless and they always have plenty of soap and paper towels which is a huge plus when you just want to wash up before eating your soup.

Starbucks Is The Classic Road Trip Stop

We all know the drill of buying a quick coffee just to use the bathroom and honestly it is usually worth it because they keep things pretty tidy. Sometimes it can be a little busy and you have to wait in line but the stalls are almost always well maintained and smell like roasted coffee beans.

In-N-Out Burger Keeps Things Simple And Clean

If you are lucky enough to live near one of these you know the burgers are great and surprisingly the bathrooms are held to the same high standard. They had shiny floors and no weird puddles anywhere so I felt totally comfortable using the sink to wash up after grabbing a burger and fries.

Culver’s Feels Just Like Being At Home

This place is known for butter burgers and frozen custard but I was honestly just super impressed by how bright and clean the washrooms were during my visit. It honestly felt like somebody’s mom was in charge of keeping the place clean because everything was stocked up and completely spotless.

Taco Bell Can Be A Nice Surprise

Some people might not think of this place right away for a bathroom break but the newer locations are actually really modern and surprisingly kept up very well. I found it to be completely decent for a quick pit stop and the soap dispensers actually worked on the first try which is always a small miracle.

Five Guys Focuses On The Basics

You walk in and see peanuts everywhere but thankfully the bathrooms do not have shells all over the floor and are actually super clean. The simple white and red tile design makes it really easy to spot any dirt and they clearly do a good job mopping up throughout the day.

Wendy’s Is Getting Better Every Year

A lot of the recently remodeled stores look really sharp on the inside and the bathrooms definitely got a nice upgrade to match that fresh new look. It was a really quiet and clean experience so I would totally suggest pulling over here if you are on a long drive and need a quick break.
