How to Wash Grapes (and When) for Peak Enjoymen

Although grapes may appear clean in the store, they tend to have traces of nature and dust, as well as traces of harvesting and shelf handling. Drying Grapes Properly

Dark colored grapes are firm and plumpy. Spoilage is indicated by wrinkled skins and soft spots or sour smell. Mold can be in the form of fuzzy white spots particularly around the stem. Grapes that appear to have such signs should be discarded always.

Grapes are more refreshing when chilled. Freeze off some of the washed and dry grapes and snack on them. Use them in salads, cheese spreads, or in smoothies.
